hi i got this in a couple of weeks ago, the seller claimed he was a red peacock but i do not think so, he's super chill and eats a lot so i decided to keep him anyway and i was wondering if anyone can help me id what type of mantis shrimp he is? Any help is appreciated...

Gonodactyloids can be a little tricky to I.D. sometimes because they are probably the most polymorphic of all the stomatopod families.

Not uncommon to see two of the same species Gonodactyloids but with VERY different coloration & patterns.

Make him his own tank. I had a peacock mantis a few yrs back and it was truly one of the coolest species only tanks ive owned.
