Help with my BTA

Hey everyone I bought a sunburst BTA a couple weeks ago and he was doing good for a week or so then a couple days ago he started moving and then settled under a over hang and he is now opened all the way up and I’m not sure if it is normal or if I should be concerned, if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated!
