Today I received the results on my first Triton test. Everything looks pretty good except Barium which is +190 over the setpoint. Solution for this is to use aluminium phosphate remover which also removes Barium.

Unfortunately, I also have ever so slightly elevated Aluminium and have read some articles about the detrimental side affects of Aluminium in the reef. Is there another solution for removing Barium? Does GFO also remove Barium? And if not and I do need to use this aluminium phosphate remover, how do I then bring down the aluminium?

Personally, I doubt the barium is a problem, but adding some well rinsed aluminum oxide binder is also not likely an issue. If soft corals such as leathers close up, I was wrong about the aluminum. Then I'd remove it. :)
