How do folks who live in high humidity areas of the country deal with protecting their equipment.
I'm in the North East and this August we had a terrible two weeks where I had condensation on the tank glass and my lights daily. My tank is also in my basement which further exacerbates my problem.
I lost one light and am looking at dehumidifiers for next year. I ran two large fans but to no avail.

Any Ideas welcomed!!!

Do you have central air? If so I would think that should be pulling most of the humidity out of the house. If no AC or in addition too a humidifier should help or a small room AC if you have to combat temp and humidity.

This is the combo that I am looking at.
I need a dehumidifier large enough to do my entire basement and either a stand alone AC or a window unit for next year.

I live in Wisconsin and we have had higher than usual humidity and heat since late May. My central air seems to handle it just fine. I would start with Aprilaire if you are looking for a built in solution.
