Hi, il apologise in advance if this as being asked before…
These past month I’ve being struggling with my nitrates. It’s reading at the highest range in the Red Sea water test kits.
My tank is 3 years old.
I’m performing a 50L water change in a 250L tank per week. I’m also dosing it with the Red Sea algae management which is suppose to reduce the nitrate and phosphates…
I’m also feeding the fish once a day, I’ve filters including a UV running, skimmer running, plenty of live rock and live sand.
I don’t know what more I can do?
Rest of my parameters are normal. (Last Fridays readings)
PH 8.2
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Luckily I’ve not lost any fish but I have lost 2 anemones…
What else can I do to reduce them to a safe level?
