hippo tang...anything but

anyone have any idea how to coax a hippo tang to eat seaweed clips?
he tears up my misis and other kinds of live food but wont touch the veggies!
any advice?

Try putting the seaweed in between some rocks.Thats how iv got my fox face and tang to eat in the past.I guess it's more natural for them lol.Ater that they should start eating from the clip

I put mine under my mag float and move it to the bottom of tank. Seaweed clips don't seem to last and my fish would not touch them. But the mag float is always in tank and they know its always there so it doesn't scare them off.

Try cutting some in 1/8 in.x 4in. strips.

I got mine to eat it by tying some to a piece of live rock with a rubberband.

Soak it in Garlic X, that might be all he needs.
