Hi all been a member for a little while so thought it's about time I stuck up a short tank thread. View attachment 3460426 recent photo, sorry about the Christmas lights. It's a 750 litre display tank which is 1.3 metres by 600mm by a metre deep. Hope you like :)

Wow, I really love the schooling chromis!

thanx for the nice comments, the chromis do look good schooling together but they always seem to end up getting aggressive and quarrellsome and these seem to be going that way. Also when I look at other reefshowcase posts on here I see below the post it lists all the details of their set up, how do I get the same on my reefshowcase post?

Ya I heard they tend to pick each other off until there’s one or two, I hope that is not the case with yours. Search @revhtree post on reef show case post it explains all there or contact him and he’ll set you up. Hopefully he will jump in here since I tagged him, good luck. Let me know if you need anything else.

Good looking tank, coral looks very healthy. With the chromis, view them like canaries. If you ever kept a large number of birds, every single canary needs a nest to claim as its own where it can find cover & safety. Your rock structure needs to emulate something similar to Swiss cheese where every chromis can find a spot within the structure that it can retreat to & find safety from the chromis that’s above it in the pecking order. It’s a rule that applies when housing fish within the same family. Even us humans can’t stand each other living in the same space for too long . Hope it helps.
