So I spotted this little guy, not so little anymore, a few months ago and he barely had arms and was tiny. He keeps popping up and keeps getting bigger. Should I worry? Looks like a sand sifting star but I don’t have sand. He’s been living in the rocks for the most part. Rarely see him. Today he’s strolling around.

Maybe it’s not an asterina?

I was gunna say that but then again I'm new and there are probably hundreds of species of asterinas lol.

just keep an eye on it and see if he eats corals, if not I'd let him stay, diversity is always a win.

She's been in there for months and i haven't noticed any corals affected but it has tripled in size in that time.
