Hmm new growth or bleaching?

Hello all! New to sps. Hoping for insight. Now I know across tend to be white at new growth, but do they get this white? The branch on the right is about 80% white but it also seems about twice as thick and the acro has been producing new pollops and getting taller. In fact when I got it it barely had many pollops on it.

Just curious if this is normal. Dkh is 9, calc is 420. I have been calc dosing the last 3 weeks as I was at 380 and wanted a boost .temp is 78 and salinity is 1.023. thanks!

The Ns and amonia are at 0.

It looks like bleaching or tissue necrosis to me unfortunately. This can be caused from a number of things. Alk swings, lighting, low salinity.

Sorry idont know what aefw means..? I posted.my parameters in my first post, is there a specific one you were looking for?

Would.moving it closer to the lights be better? The ALK stays consistent and the salinity was 1.021 and I started raising it recently.

I didn't even know that was a thing. So many things to learn along the way. I haven't seen any worms.if they're visible with the eye that is.

I agree with Crabs....looks like STN/RTN unfortunately which can be caused by SO many things. Are you noticing anything on your other acros (if you have more)?
