Yes many ppl did, some ppl lost their whole house and some left their home cause of water and have still no clue what's going on as they not aloud to get back.
Mandatory, once you left no way back till it's lifted and about 12.000 homes what I know of in Houston ppl are not aloud to get back not even apartments included.
