hockey

Lived in 5 hockey towns, and now I am an hour away from hockey here in Florida.

Been to both buildings in Florida. The building the Panthers play in is HUGE!! Tampa was fun. Ebor (SP?) District was cool, as were the outdoor bar restaurants in/out of the stadium.

Form what it's worth Jager is ancient, and I hope he plays forever.

It is sad to say, I have not been to a game here in Florida. I think it is time to change that.

DO IT!!!

Jager and Luongo in Florida
Stamkos in Tampa.

Good options either way

Well I believe you guys can at least afford to go to a game. I do not know how Leaf fans can and they are like sold out every game. Example Dec.,19th 2016 Leafs vs. Ducks cheapest seats $101.00 ea most expensive $670.00 ea. I think I was told a Beer is $15.00, wow. I know my friend would go down to Buffalo to see games instead, he said he would pay 1/3 to 1/2 of what it would cost in Toronto.

Lightning fan here.
Jsker you should definitely going to a game. Tickets for games are affordable we can normally get in for like 60-100 a piece and that's only a couple rows up from the ice. Plus you get to see Stamkos and Bishop!

I know people have joked about it. That would be cheaper to fly to Florida and watch a Leaf game and fly back then to buy tickets here. I guess that is why the Leaf are the wealthiest NHL team. I also believe 75% or more of the tickets are Corporate owned. In my lifetime I think I have been to 4 Games and I am 50.
Oh ya, I forgot then there is some kid of service charge and 13 % sales take on those tickets so in the end you would be looking at close to $1600.00 for a pair and if they make playoffs then they pretty much double.

@skim
That explains why when the Canucks are in town, 1/3 of the building is dressed in blue. We actually have friends from the Vancouver area who come to Anaheim for games. Waay cheaper to travel to see the Canucks play. $100 found trip flight, about $125 for a hotel, and Ducks tickets lower bowl add like $95. I know often times they hit Kings games too on the same trip. Same thing, tickets lower bowl right about $100. Wanna sit nosebleeds, you are in for a whopping $17..
I suppose that also explains why the Ducks are a "budget team"
Come to So Cal, and I'll buy you a beer!!!

Hockey? What is that?

Do not try to invade the United Center for the Blackhawks. We fill that place up every home game with Red and Black. Heck even in St Louis it is almost a home game for us as many of us make that quick 4 hour drive to there and cheer them on. Jamir is starting to show his age the man that defies how old he really is has to be Duncan Keith anyone that can average 28+ minutes on the ice for a season and still be as good as he is look out.

Nice!!! Have to wait till the 23rd for our home opener.... and... the 0-2-1 start doesn't bode well..... good thing the Ducks have 79 more to figure it out...

Devil's fan here lol live in Wyoming but drive to Denver a few times a year for games.
