Hi all. I am going to try and cut out holes in my aquarium to install a over-flo pre filter. I am putting in One 1" Bulkhead for my drain and One 3/4" Bulkhead for my return. My question, is there a particular size and type of Hole saw bit needed? And any pointers before starting this job?
:)

Yes. You need a diamond bit hole saw to cut thru glass. For acrylic you can use a standard hole saw you can pick up at your local hardware store

Building a jig/guide is very helpful (fill it with water) and also don't put any pressure, allow the hole saw to do all the work.
