I’ve noted three holes in my toadstool. There also seems to be areas that are turning white.

Anyone have an idea if this is normal?

More photos would help. Hard to tell but it looks like it has a couple different lobes/heads. And they are splitting from each other.

It looks less like it’s turning white and more like the tissue is thinning and shedding.

I’m guessing it’s gotten to a size that it’s trying to drop babies

Edit: it’s not the most common but leathers can eventually drop babies. I’ve had my devils hand drop babies and I’ve seen the colony split literally in half once one side of it started touching a rock and attached itself.
 
Completely normal the “holes” they get larger and then you have two.

I see a bubble coral to the left.
Can’t tell how close but mine can sting 6” so keep him with room,

By the way, that’s a hammer and he is more than 6” from the leather.
