I've read some basic info on using Baking Soda to increase your waters KH
Here's an article (http://fins.actwin.com/mirror/begin-chem.html)

Has anyone done this? any thoughts or feedback,, my kh sits at around mid 6 so I need to keep it raised a bit.

Using supplements is going to be expensive long-term so looking at an alternative if I can.

Yes I bake it. That removes moisture and any carbon dioxide. Let me find Randys article
https://www.advancedaquarist.com/2004/4/chemistry

I mix 1ea 16oz box baked with 1/2 gallon of distilled water. I know how much of that solution to dose my tank. Cause I have old brain I wrote it on the 1/2 gallon bottle.
