I’m not really sure how good or bad these corals look. Looking at other people’s acros they seem to look much better than what I am seeing out of mine. I try so hard to get those crazy colors but seem to fall short. Maybe it’s just the camera I’m not really sure. The pictures were taken with an iPhone XS with no gel filter an without any gel filters or edited. Lighting is under a radium bulb only. Thanks for your input

Thanks man. I put so much time in to this tank husbandry wise and want to see those crazy colors like others have too. Not to mention my growth rate is pretty slow too.

They look healthy, and healthy is good! ;)

Coloration will differ from tank to tank. Some acros need super high light to pop, others need a certain spectrum and some need lower light to look their best.
If your growth rate is slow, what light do you run, how high is your bio-load and how much do you feed? :)

The light is a Hamilton cebu sun 24” on a 36” tank. Running 1 250 watt radium 2 t5 blue plus bulbs 1 coral plus 1 purple plus and 2 xho reefbrites. I feed twice a day with a pretty heavy bio load. I feed twice a day. My parameters are
Temp 79
Salinity 1.026 Milwaukee digital
Alk 7.6 Hanna checker
Calcium 430 Hanna checker
Mag 1320 salifert
NO3 2 Red Sea pro
PO4 .002 to .005 Hanna checker
I’m thinking I need more light.
