Hooking MP40 up to Apex

I only got 1 MP40 right now,is it worth hooking up to the apex and letting the apex control it or just let the mp40 run itself and what do you need to add to the Apex ..

Thanks any advice on both units would be great since i just got them both within the last 2 weeks

You will need an APEX WXM module to control the MP40 with the APEX controller. It is handy if you want a way to automate different schedules.

I have it connected so I can setup feed modes to turn things off together

Correct me if I'm wrong. The wmx module is only required to run the wireless MP40's.

I would hook it up to run the pump on different modes during the day. And yes, the feed function works well too.
