Is it worth hooking up ai light up in apex or control them through the ai app? I would like to have the cloud cover effects but can’t get that through the ai app.

Apex control of AI lights works quite well for me.
However some routers just don't allow the correct AI-Apex communications, due to how AI lights use multicast. (Netgear Orbi system I have works fine.)
Also, if your lighting schedule is very complex, switching over will be a pain in the rear because the scheduling format is different and it will take time to convert.
And the Apex doesn't do lightning, lunar or acclimation.

Oh so you change clouds for lightning... I will stick with AI app. Thanks for your input
