Anyone ever used a automatic irrigation drip feeder designed for plants to dose something like reef roids over 24 hour period? It can be set to drip various times for example every 15min or 30mins so corals and plankton loving fish get to feed frequently. The food will be fully saturated so should sink easier rather than float over a overflow.

Looks like it be easy enough to replace the food each day as it’s just changing the container, that way the food won’t spoil. Could also add something like amino acids for vitamins.
My tank evaporates 10 litres a day so the adding of extra RO should not be a issue.
I think the tubing would need cleaning frequently.

Can anyone think why this would not work?

Reef roids would spoil easily in a reconstituted state sitting in an ambient temp container .
You'll want it refrigerated.
Something like this would work.

I’ve got one of little mini fridges in the shed, that’s a really good idea as it could prolong it’s ‘shelf life’ and would easily sit next to my sump and have it dose straight into the return pump.

Have you used reef roids?
They raised my phosphate too high.

This one’s less than 30, which is a drop in the ocean (pun intended) compared to most Reefing equipment.
