Hotels close to GA aquarium. Recommend

Not the Motel 6 downtown Atlanta lol, found that out the hard way.
It you haven't already look into the City Pass, admission to the aquarium and several other cool spots, the Zoo is cool too.

Hyatt Regency Downtown is nice. Easy Uber to the aquarium.....also the Hilton Downtown has a Trader Vic’s Tiki Bar in it....one of the last originals. It’s worth the stay just for that

I do watch it, but my kids really just got big enough to enjoy it.

You think an aquarium show would have more fish. Its cool to see the behind action though.

Yeah, I thought the same thing about the fish. It follows the same format as The Zoo which we also watch.

Im not sure about the Hotels but the Aquarium is amazing. I've made the trip down there twice and plan to do so again soon so ill be following this for the Hotel recommendations since i dont recall where we stayed last time i was there.

Some guests like the Omni at CNN Center which is an easy walk to the Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, Football Hall of Fame, etc. Online pricing is about $150/night. Like any metropolitan area you can find a wide range of accommodations/prices; really depends on how much you want to spend and how you would get to the Aquarium - walk, taxi, drive your own car, rapid transit, etc. If you pm me with some hotels you are thinking about I would be glad to give you my take.
And, probably want to book a behind-the-scenes tour to really understand the inner workings of the Aquarium.

Any of the name-brand convention hotels downtown are good. I'd take a gamble on hotwire or priceline at that star level.

Behind the scenes tour is worth it.

Went there a 3 years ago or so while visiting my brother and his family in Atlanta, had a great time and that was before I started keeping fish.
