House Interior Paint safe for reef aquarium

My wife tells me its time to paint the interior of the house. I need a recommendation from someone who has actually used the paint and it did not affect the aquarium. Thanks

Standing by. I was just about to paint the walls in my frag room with Behr Premium Paint and Primer in one. I planned to just cover the tank with a box or something when painting. Should I shut off the skimmer or something since it pulls in the air?

I have painted many times around my tank with no issues.....just use low VOC Latex paint. I didn't shut of my skimmer or do anything out of the ordinary to prepare the tank.

I have also never had issues painting rooms with aquariums. Obviously open windows to help vent fumes.

never had a problem-please cover the tank and you will be fine.

I’ve painted many times with my tank in the house. Back in the day, I remember my skimmer went nuts with one brand of paint. However, the newer, low VOC paints have never been a problem. I most use Bayer now.
