So my tank was kinda of empty I didn’t want to put any fish in because probably a year I will move and tear it down and build a new 180 reef , so I was by petco and saw these blue green chromis , I’ve heard basically they are safe and good for color in the tank . I bought three brought them home to a 100 gallon tank let them go , they are Awesome I have had them over 2 years still didn’t move yet , my thre clowns and tang love’m they swim constantly.. ok BUTT every week major clean up from spotted white eggs everywhere they mate 24 hours a day lol no kidding in the rocks on the glass , the swim up on there side on the glass and blast eggs ! That’s it run away and play in the tank ...basically it’s a mess so just was wondering why I never see any threads about this is it uncommon?

Sounds like a good problem to have, means that they are happy and healthy so the tank must be doing well :)

My blue/green chromis had a 60s Woodstock lovefest going on for a year. And they get scrappy when spawning, so they would dive bomb the emperor angel if it got too close, which it did all the time.

Then velvet happened, and now I QT scrupulously.
