I have old rock that I used in a tank for a few months. I broke the tank down and set the rock outside after about 3 months. It has been outside since spring how should I clean it. I want to do it kind of quickly

You can bleach it, you can look up different ways to do that but you basically put it in a bucket, add bleach then do another bucket with water and a dechlorinator, just keep doing water changes and adding the dechlorinator.
With it being outside in the elements I would bleach it, who knows what could have gotten in there.
Once bleached it has no positive or negative impacts on a tank, so you will want a little live rock to get the bacteria going again.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
