Guys, I just got a pair of masked swallowtail angelfish, together with wrasses and a tang. They are all in the qt. I am going to start prazipro treatment, however, I am not sure if it is safe for angelfish. I talked to LFS, they told me to use only half dosage so that the angelfish won't get stressed out. I would like to find out the right deworm treatment. This is the first time that I have angelfish, any advice will be helpful.

I had flukes that piggybacked in on a couple anthias a few months back. I don't have any large angels, but my Lamarck's angel handled a full dosage treatment of Prazi just fine. At the advice of Mike & Terry, I also invested in a cleaner wrasse which worked wonders. As the flukes were started coming out of the fish during treatment, the cleaner wrasse was slurping them up like they were a delicacy!

I used Prazi on our emperor when we first got him while in QT. Full dosage didn't bother him at all.

Angels can handle full dosage of Prazipro just fine, other praziquantel treatments can be more harsh than Prazipro. I do always start with half dosage on day 1 however, then other half on day 2 if the angel(s) seem fine.
