How do you keep Goniopora alive?

Do they hatch?

If they do they dont last long.
In the pic the silver is their eyes, today the eggs are gone (just check).

I'm relatively new to this hobby (about 10 months). What would be the difference in acropora type lighting and water quality vs LPS or softie system?

Sps are more demanding, high flow, high light and stable water parameters.
Lps will do fine with less light, flow and are more forgiving for the parameters (kh, ca, mg, no3, po4).
For exemple, you have to control (dosing) the chemistry daily for sps, for lps it can be done weekly (they do consume less).
