How do you know proper flow in DT?

I am also running the same scheme as you. But now I am slowing increasing the power output of the WAV units to try increase my overall flow

See I just increase my tank volume instead of adjusting the percentages as it's easier but it seems u are correct as when I went to 90 the flow went up to 5.4

So why is that? I thought that with making the tank bigger the flow would go up.
 
The smaller the tank size the more flow you get with the power output on the powerheads. The larger the volume the less total water movement. Need more percentage of power for more flow with larger tank.
 
Right I still don't get it thanks tho I'll look more into it
