Dear all,
I came into possession of an anemone with the crab hosting. The pair came in the glass with 2 suction cups. I am trying to get the anemone to move on the rock from there. How would you do it without breaking the glass? It is pretty well stuck to the wall...
I appreciate any advice.

If the shops Anemone escapes it's basket for sale I wear gloves and take a credit card( washing both) and gently take hold of the Anemone, then try and slide the credit card under the Anemone to seperate it from the glass and place it into his basket (or rock for you)

Hit it with some flow to make it move out of the glass...but not enough to hurt it.
If you can access the foot try and ice cube in the glass at the foot and it may release. Or....put ice on the glass outside by its foot and maybe that will get it to release from the glass getting cold.

I use those anemone holders (glass with 2 suction cups) all the time. You can use your finger and gently release the foot
