I have a 375 and do not use GFO. I use Lanthanum Chloride instead, its a phosphate remover for pool.

Well I said big but it's only a 120g. :)

I have a bigger media reactors that I run GFO in but the dang stuff just gets clogged! Not because of the reactor of course but because of the pump! Any suggestions on a pump that will keep water moving through?

Is building a manifold off your return pump, out of the question?

When I was running it on my system (200g display + 150g in sump and stuff) I used a Next Reef MR1 that was fed off my manifold, along with a second one that ran carbon.
Now I just use carbon in my LifeReef sump's filter canister. No GFO.
The tank has been up and running again for 7 months. Nitrates are .5 ppm or less, and po4 is .01
The only thing I can attribute that to is the massive Chaeto death star under my 150w HPS grow light. :eek:

I'm running GFO in a reactor fed off of my manifold. Have to turn it off to keep my phosphate from going to zero every couple of weeks.
