That stand would hold a semi-truck. Thats how I build stuff, always plenty of overkill. But, this way you dont have to worry about your tank ending up on the floor.

hahaha your like me. i built my stand WAY over kill. i am building one right now for our new 15' reef and my wife and i werte laughing about how it a hurricane ever comes through atleast we have a safe place to hide lol
 

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
