Hi everyone hope you are all well!

I currently have a 240 gallon mixed reef in the making and would like to share my water chemistry test results over the past few months to see what you guys think and to see if they are stable enough for LPS/SPS etc.

The tank has been setup for over 6 months now and to be honest everything is going really well appearance wise (Algae/ugly stages) etc.

All my corals are doing well but I just want to know whether I am keeping my water chemistry stable enough or if I have to try harder?

A line means I didn’t do a test that day or took a record as I was confident they were ok as I have Neptune apex watching the tank etc etc.

Really only bothered about the alk, calc and mag readings as I am trying to get my dosing levelled out so still finding my feet with it all.

Looks pretty good :) were you trying to increase nitrates? Those are the only thing I see going up noticeably enough.

Thanks for the replies, I haven’t necessarily been trying to raise nitrates but I have a goal for each parameter:

5ppm maximum nitrates - if it ever gets there, again just letting it do its thing as I have a refugium and do weekly water changes. I am keeping both LPS and SPS so would like this to satisfy both.
0.04 maximum phosphate
8.4 alk
480 calc
1450 magnesium
79f temp
7.9-8.2 PH

I was just wanting to find out whether the swings in my alk/calc/magnesium were too large as we are always told to keep things rock steady for SPS etc but how stable do people strive for?

I didn’t know whether other people’s tanks fluctuate also or whether they are sat at the same test readings day in day out? (I know readings can change during the course of the day but never really seen what is acceptable as such?)

Thanks
