I added chemiclear to my tank about 10hrs ago because I have a horrible cyano outbreak. So far I have noticed very little progress. In some places the cyano has increased. How long should I wait until I dose again?

Yes clean oops. I ask because the instructions dont state what to do if it doesnt clean after 48 hrs. It says wait 48 hrs then do a 20% change.

I would wait the 48 hours and go from there. Nothing in this hobby happens over night. Patience is the key young skywalker. Also for the next time you dose this stuff clean out as much of the cyano as you can prior to dosing.

It can take a couple days. Did you take out any carbon, skimmer, etc. 10 hours is not enough.

It took me 2 round to rid my cyano. I followed the directions closely. After the first round it got rid of most. I did the wc and put carbon in for 3 or 4 days then I noticed it was starting to grow back so I removed the carbon got out as much as I could and retreated the tank. That got rid of it all I did the wc and put in chemipure elite to make sure my phosphates stayed down and I havent seen any since.

When I used Chemiclean my skimmer was a volcano, I had to leave the lid off as it couldn't drain fast enough using the normal hole in the cup.

Are you running UV? Make sure that is off too.

I would wait it out and follow the instructions, a lot of people don't see results for a few days.
