Hey everyone, one of my anthias was been a bully to the rest of my anthias, I caught him in my fish trap (also my acclimation box) how long do you guys think I can keep him there? I was thinking a day or two but I'm not sure if that is too long. I've also thought of putting him in my sump but with constant flow and nowhere to rest or hide I don't know if thats a good idea. What do you guys think? any suggestion? Thanks a lot in advance.

No a couple day to a week is fine as long as he is eating and the box allow adequate flow. Hope the time out helps, be prepared to catch him again.

A week or more is fine, though a degree of aggression is normal with anthias, as that is how they maintain the roles in the social heirarchy, some species more than others. What species do you have, as well as how many do you have?
