How long do you wait for a response from a seller?

Please read here before posting. Outside comments are not permitted per R2R's feedback forum policy. This is to allow the buyer and seller to have a streamlined conversation and hopefully come to a mutually satisfactory resolution in a negative transaction. If you would like to contribute your own feedback experience with either the buyer or seller, you may do so by creating your own feedback thread. Only the thread starter and vendor will have posting access. Thank you.

Did a transaction which was delayed for 2 days luckily it was Zoa’s but half melted. I took pics with the items melted/melting then followed up 3-4 days later saying their gone. In between sellers had great communication. It’s been over a week closing in on a week and a half with no response. I’ve sent to message in the week plus time span. How long do you wait before being more aggressive? He stated he would replace them which is documented in the messages. Just wanted to be PC about this rather than just jumping the gun. TIA

It's been over a week and a half since you told him the zoa's didn't make it?

IMO I would not have waited that long just for a response. I would resend the email (was it an email?) and ask " did you get this, originally sent on ***** date. " Not a nasty email, but just confirming receipt.

48-72 hrs. If paid with Paypal, send him a message with pics again using paypal’s contact seller page. Then you and Paypal have a copy and if claim is necessary- they have the info required already.
Communicating via Paypal initiates fast response as seller knows what’s next

It wasn’t an email rather a private message on reef2reef. I’ll send another message and hope everything’s okay on his side.
