I got an anthias yesterday, the fancy ones. The store had some lower end ones that live in groups for 35$ or the higher end that love alone for 95$. I’m not sure if it’s a bartlet or if it’s any other kind.

As soon as I put him in the tank, he went near a coral, as I turned around to put my 2 chormis I also got that day, he totally disappeared and I haven’t seen him since. I looked everywhere from the outside of my tank and did not even see where he could be hiding. I’m slightly worried he had jumped out.

he didn’t come out during feeding either. After how long shoulf I start to worry about him?

Depending on the fish it could hide from a few hours to 18 years. (I had a cusk eel that I never saw for that long except if I searched in the middle of the night with a flashlight)
Most fish will hide for a couple of days.
