how long will chaeto last in a bag?

i might go to the LFS tonight to get some chaeto, but i won’t be able to get it into the tank until tomorrow morning. will it survive in the bag for 12 hours?

Don’t ask why because it’s a long story but I once had a softball size clump in a mason jar in a cabinet for over a week. It started to rot around day 8-9 so I think you’ll be alright

Make sure the chaeto stays moist/humid in the bag. A little water in the bottom is all that is needed. While some people ship in a bag filled with water, we tend to avoid it.
