How loud is your MP10?

Brand new wet side. Brand new dry side. Sounds pretty much exactly how my old one was (bad bearing). I know Echotech will charge me for shipping and return shipping just to tell me it’s perfectly fine. I’m just curious if they are all this loud? My MightyJet return pump is a little bigger but absolutely silent. Surprisingly silent. I even have the MP10 on basically the lowest setting and the dryside/wet side are aligned properly. I’ve owned two mp10s. The first one was about a year after they first released and it was purchased used with a bad bearing. I replaced the wet/dry side but kept the driver but it’s still pretty loud

Sorry can’t see the video but in case you didn’t know the bearings are replaceable.

The motor being on the outside means no water barrier to dampen noise.

I guess I can't tell you if yours is normal but will you hear them? In my experience, yes. Unless you have some other noise in the room to make it less noticeable. They were an absolute no-go for bedroom tanks.

Yeah this tank is next to my couch. I’m standing in my kitchen about 15 feet away and I can hear it. Even with upstairs neighbors walking around and my dog scuffling about as I type this lol. (Apartment living)
