It sure will, just wanted to know where you guys keep yours, and at what point it could be detrimental to my tank.

Below 7DKH is 2 low. I keep mine round 9-10 DKH

Natural sea water has a dKH of 6-7.

It's more important to keep it stable, rather than chase a certain number. People have very successful reefs ranging frmo 6-12 dKH.

Stability is the key. I normally keep mine around 9-10.

Sorry 9-10 is ideal If you use RO water it will drop.If it goes below 7 your zoos will do very bad.

With me keeping it in the 9-10 range I start to see my corals affected when it drops below 8.

Not ideal if you are running a low nutrient system which you would want 6-8 dkh. But stability is the key.
