How many species of corals for 6-foot 180 tank?

Hi all, for all of you with tanks in this size range or have had tanks 150-180 gallons, how many species of corals do you feel would be appropriate for a tank of this size? I want to do an approximately 50/50 split of LPS and softies. Some of you may recall that in a previous thread, I made a comprehensive list of the LPS and soft corals I’m considering, a total of 24 species with 12 softies species and 12 LPS species.

The tank’s 6 foot long, 2.3 foot wide and 1.8 foot tall.

Thanks. Which corals do you feel would be best to go into the tank at the beginning and how many frags?

Ignore the Chinese haha. I had to learn the Chinese names for all these corals.

I realize some of these corals can get really big and invasive too. Do you think I should drop the Green Star Polyps for the Torch Coral as they look similar?

And which corals do Pajama Cardinals love to hang around, and Ocellaris Clownfish love to host?

How would you guys go about narrowing down this list?

Side Note: Should I go with Randall’s or a Tiger Pistol for my YWG? This is taking the presence of my planned Flame Hawk, Longnose Hawk, and Comet into consideration.

I’ve replaced the chili coral with Kenya Tree, just found out Chili Coral’s a difficult species.

For the not completely reef safe fish, I read somewhere that having corals with more effective chemical defenses may mitigate the chance that they’ll nip, but which corals fall under this category?
