I would say you have around 10,575gph based on mp40 specs from ecotech website. That’s 88x turnoverI have 3 mp40 in a 120 gallon 4×2×2 , all on reef crest mode, the ones on each end run 100% and the one on the middle back at about 35% . Have no idea how much that is
The reason I ask, without hijacking this post is I have a problem with DT flow, I recently added corals and an anemone, corals doing fine after a bit of re positioning, bt anemone has split into 2 and looks like it doing a lap of the tank lolTheir is 2 turnovers.
1 how much flows through your sump.
2 how much flow you turnover/move in your tank.
It is looking for a place to attatch.Th

I got the rock it was attached to from lfs, probley flow which I have since turned down. That what drew me to this thread, saying that the lfs could nt separate it from the rock, he also said he may of damaged its foot, but it was ok, as I was handing my money over lolIt is looking for a place to attatch.
It may be to much flow for it.
I had to remove a 12 head frogspawn and the clown that it hosted to my frag tank because of to much flow.
In that case you should be good.100 gph as in all my pumps added up and divided by my water volume.
Mine averages at ~60x per hour depending on where it is in the schedule. No SPS yet though. Nem seems to be doing well in a heavier flow area as well
The Nero 5 (really wish I had known about the Nero 3) runs low, and varies around 950-1150 only kicking up 3 times a day to stir things upWhat kind of schedule are you running?
