The add says it is 8inch diameter but it's under a 2 liter bottle top (only 4 inch diameter) so I am guessing the coral in 3.5" or so. How much is it worth?

Ok, i am getting it. He really wants some frogspawn and hammer so he will do a frag rack (I made for free with some extra egg crate), 1 green hammer, a frogspawn head, and ONLY $40-$50 for the brain! This is my first brain so do they need anything special. It is going to be under a actinic tube light. I also have a bigger tank with halides if they don't do good with fluorescent.

To be honest it looks like it could be Symphyllia Wilsoni which happens to be my absolute favorite LPS species. However S. Wilsoni does not expand as much as a trachy. It's most likely a Trachyphyllia. Nice brain regardless

They like feeding of mysis and or the usuals, and also some supplemental lighting in addition to actinic alone

florescent alone isnt bad but they need other spectra besides actinic so I'd get them 10k and actinic good to go

I totally mixed up the lighting it's under a 10000k right now and I am getting some light in a couple days that apparently can grow anything. For some reason the frogspawn dies within hours of bring it home so I had to do $80

I will post a pic. It has like 5 mouth, can I frag them with a diamond band saw at the aquarium store or do they need to naturally split? How much is a mouth worth?

Here it is all opened up. Does it look healthy? I have never dosed calcium because I used to just keep softies. I will pick up some of the essential elements thing or plain calcium supplement for marine tanks.
