I started running Triton 2 months ago and went from 25 gallons every sat to 0. I decided month 2 to clean sand and replaced 10 gallons. I am running full Triton with 3 water test in 2 months. My tank is mixed 140 gallon and all is doing 100 times better then when I changed water every weekend. Perfect seawater daily with Triton chemicals and a oversized sump below.

I use PNW ocean water with whatever salt I've got kicking around to bring it back up to 1.025. Get about 20% weekly. Dose the big 3 and have two skimmers and about 5 socks. Use wooden blocks for micro bubbles at night.

20% bi weekly, RSCP salt 160 gal display with a 45 gal sump. XL skimmer and run bio pellets. Tank is Rockin lots of SPS, Acans and favias. Dose the main 3 every other day the groth is very good and colorful.

I change 10l on my 120l (with displacement and that 90ish litres) once every 2 months or so. I have no sump just a Hang in (not external) filter called a BIOBOX SW. I run floss only when I clean the glass to catch bit the fish don't eat. Been running like this for 2 years. Oh my water change water is mother nature's finest nsw. O should do more as it's free but as they say if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Usually around 15% every three weeks. Every step can be inconvenient, but I want to maintain healthy and happy tank. My skimmer (came with tank), for some reason produced microbubbles at the 2 month mark, and barely skimmed anything (there’s plently to skim, trust me :) ). So now trying to find the best one for the tank. Wish me luck.

For safety sake I make sure to test in between twice... So I change the water, then tests once on the 4th day after, and once more 4 days after that, then 4 days later I do another WC. I will do one in between if things get a bit off, but they typically dont

I do water changes roughly every 2 weeks. Around 20 in the 75 & 35 to 40 on the 180.
Is this best? I don't know. Just how I do it.

I only change it out when it is needed unless there are issues that come up which other then moving my tank I havent had. As long as the parameters are good and everything is happy and doing well I dont see a reason to keep changing the water. My Red Sea is a newer tank and have only been set up a few months so I have done a change with it but here lately it had been doing great and might be able to get to the point to where I wont have to change it out as much any more.
