No, the 'UV' in these lights are not actually the 'UV' that can cause the damage you are probably thinking about - it's not really too different from any of the other spectrums of light in these lights.Obviously you don't want to look directly into them
But is looking at the tank with spill over from your UV light at 100%+ bad for your eyes?
