I have two EB832s with identical module IDs. When they are connected, they act as one and change at the same time. They are both assigned the ID number 14. I attempted to connect one EB832 and delete that module. It still doesn't work. I contacted Neptune for assistance, but I wanted to see if anyone had encountered this problem before and knew how to resolve it.

Thanks

Plug in the first EB8 with address 14. Delete that module from address 14. Now unplug it.

Connect the other EB8 with address 14. Delete that module from address 14. now unplug it.

Now plug in the first and see what address it takes. Then connect the 2nd one and it should get new address.

Thanks. Do I have to delete both? I unplugged everything from the system except for just one of the EB832s addressed to 14. I deleted 14 and unplugged. It disappeared from my module list and then I plugged it back in. It took 14 again.

Never seen this happen, odd.

I would delete both modules while plugged in, then unplug them, then plug them back in. They should assign new addresses.

Probably not what you want to hear, but you may have to factory rest the brain. JUst makes sure you make a backup of the config files.
