Is there something out there that I can plug my T5 into and dim?
Or would i have to buy dimmers and install in fixture?

Was actually just looking at them on brs.
What would be needed for controller?
Depends on the ballast but this one uses this:
Dimmable ballasts need a 0-10vDC reference for control which can be found on most common aquarium controllers

No it doesn't but "fairly cheap" manual ones are available..

There are easy and cheap DIY type stuff but not my forte.
Think all one needs is a 10v DC power supply and the appropriate potentiometer for manual dimming.
Not in my pay grade though.

Personally abandoned 10V analog a long time ago.
All a bit more complicated because you can't turn the light OFF with the dimmer alone.
Oh and a timer to turn ballast off/on.
soo need an on/off switch and a 0-10v control circuit.
