My Zoas are going INSANE...this is a before and after. Taken on 4/14/18 and then again on 5/26/18, less then 6 weeks apart. On the bottom of a bare bottom tank; WB75, SPS Dominate , Radion XR30 Pro @ 72% AB+, high flow, ALK 8.2, CAL 420, MAG 1340, Phos 0.02, Nitrate 3.5, Reef Energy 3X weekly.

The cheaper they are the faster they will grow. You don’t have to do much to have them take off.

Really? So going forward just load up your tanks with cheap coral and you don't have to do anything to get them to grow? You have solved every known issue to growing coral in that one sentence. I'm just going to make sure I get premium zoa's at bargain prices so they will grow better!

I fed a little mysis once a week when I fed some of my other corals. They grew quickly and spread.

There is an inverse ratio, the expensive zoa you love will grow 1 polyp a year, the one you don't even remember, chilling in the corner, will multiple exponentially and take over the tank. [emoji16]
I assumed the same thing, and for the most part your probably correct. On the other hand I purchased a small colony (about 10 -15 polyps) of Bob Marleys as part of a larger wholesale purchase without checking the price. Fortunately they grew like crazy and a year later I have several colonies of over 100 polyps each. Go figure. I’m usually not that lucky though.
