How to kill Encrusting Gorgonian?

I have remnants of that Gorgonian on live rock since I removed original colony.

Is kalk effective on Gorgonian?

How about a scraping tool? I got the brs fragging kit, and they had some forceps which I used to scrape off some Monti caps which were taking over. They don't look like they'd do the trick, but they worked very well.

Very had to scrape as it like to grow under the overhangs

I wonder what type of gorg it was? My corky sea finger has encrusted over one entire rock.
