I have some colonial hydroids and they’re spreading fast. What’s the best way to get rid of these?

Kalkwasser powder *pickling lime " mixed with SW to make a paste thin enough to suck up into a syringe or turkeybaster.

Thanks Miles.
Ive read on other threads to try a peppermint shrimp so I added one.
Though I don’t see him out much seems like the hydroids are disappearing.

Peps are hit and miss imo... more likely to nip your corals although I had some rid some aips.... they don’t touch my hydroids or my aips anymore just my SPS... the sea hares are the only thing which I have had success with. I’ve tried peps, non reef safe starfish and a tiger Crowley...none has worked like the hares.... try them they are far more reef safe than the peps!
