How to kill medusa worms?

I've spent the last 4 months plucking them out whenever I get a chance but it's getting reallyyyyy annoying. Anyone have any suggestions?

as in spaghetti worms? used to just turkey baste them out but they are annoying and then I think I started a new tank and used dry rock ..lol

Yea that's spaghetti worms usually yellowish strings when they are in sand just succk them out with a baster , obv rocks are the hard part ..

Any halicheorus wrasse should take care of those promtly. Maybe even leopards. Don't buy into the OMG they will eat my CUC hype because at least IME thats the exception, not the norm.

That said, nothing to really worry about they could be considered part of your CUC I guess. I don't have any anymore because I have wrasses but I do still have them in my sump. You could also try coral banded shrimp which are said to eat bristle worms.

I'm no marine biologist, but I do believe that there is a distinction between the two. I've seen spaghetti worms and these are not them.
I myself had the medusa worms in my past tank and they are a major PIA. They find the smallest of holes and reproduce like no other. Personally, the only way I was able to rid them was a copperband butterly. I tried arrow crabs and numerous wrasses with no luck. The copperband got rid of the visible ones in a couple days, but weeks later they appeared again.

Ina e them on my barebottom they just kinda wedge under rocks. When I turn on the cleaning power heads (basically power heads that are off facing the bottom till cleaning time) they blow around and are sucked into the over flow and cleaned in the sock. Some of the Angels and six line eat them as they blow around.

I agree with the above regarding wrasses. Most curious wrasses; Sixline, Mystery, Leopord, etc., should eradicate the issue for you.

I will also add a Matted FileFish would also do wonders. They do have a possibility on eating other softy's as well though.
