IMO the simplest and best thing you can do to make a display tank looks its best is not to have any frag racks of any sort in it....

It's a display tank after all.... put frags in seperate tank or the sump.

If you want corals on the back wall, get mountable rocks, magnet or glue style....

This also helps limit urges to by more more corals than your tank can grow out.... (saves money, less work, win win...)

Tank on the right is frag coral qt. Weekly it gets the same water from the display on the left when i do water changes. It has no fish so very low maintenance. Becuase water parameters are very similar I can move (healthy) corals back and forth as needed. Best $500 I've spent in the hobby; the display looks nice--like a display--and i have

plenty of space for frags, plus i can qt new stuff coming in.
