I bought an Oceanic 1 Model Sump.
I know it could be made better so let me know what I should add. I want it to be a sump/refuge?

Measurements are 24L, 13W, and 17T. Dont know the gallons of the tank I forgot the forumla

in inches, it's length X width X height, divided by 231 will give you gallons. that is total capacity. operating capacity may only be half that

about 20 gallons

you can add an extra set of baffles to add on a fuge. the return area only needs to be as big as the return pump. for mine, i actually put some rubble rock around my pump, added live sand to the bottom and chaeto. as long as i keep it full enough, the chaeto floats and does not get sucked in.

I would make it tall enough that it overflows like a waterfall then another to block it. Kinda hard to explain. Anyways you want low flow for the refugium. I'll be using 2 tanks for the sump and refugium setup on mine. If i can fit both tanks under the stand.
