Anyone have some good advice on how to remove one these when it it's base in deep inside rock structure? I've tried ice, pulling it out, food, and poking it with a stick. For real, I was trying to poke at it so maybe it would move to new spot. Everything I do it just comes back for more or splits. I now have about 9 of these things and really only want one. I've been able to catch 5 or 6 of them when they start to move and have put them in another tank but have 3 more that I just can't get. My last resort would be to try joes juice, but I don't want the thing to die inside the tank. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Get a piece of rigid airline tubing and an air pump and blow bubbles down on the foot. It irritates them enough to make them let go. HTH

I have had good success pointing a maxijet near its foot, just be careful not to tear it with the water pressure. That really ticks it off and forces it to move.

I could never get one to move, but I think IMHO that poking and stressing will make them split more often.

I'll try but I'm not sure I can get an easy shot at the foot. Its pretty far down in the rocks.
Thanks.

if you can remove the rock, hold it upside down with just its tenticles in the water, it will slowly move away, good luck

can't remove the rock. It's part of the main structure. I guess I could but its all glued together and would be worse than the RBTA.

Then your pretty much out of luck. If the powerhead and bubble trick don't work there isn't much else you can do.

I just cut mine up today and it took 2 hours to get it out of the rock safely.
Well then I just cut it up anyway ;) lol

I have removed all of mine by rubbing and rubbing on their foot with my fingers.....just be relentless to them and they finally give up....I does take some time just to warn you.

Point a powerhead at it's foot and watch it. It'll finally give up and let go.

Anemones do not like the feel of metal. I have used a spoon. Just rub it on the foot. They let loose little by little. Good luck!

Get some frozen fish food outa the fridge and slowly work under his foot with it. I had one that refused to move and this was the only way i got him off the rock.
